Update available notification not showing

Same. I'm often poking around in Settings and stumble on "About" and finally it says, "Checking for updates....Restart Edge."

There had been no green dot, however.

I've had this experience both on Dev & Stable. I can't remember the last time I received that green dot "Update available" notification: it must be weeks now...

I sorta think it doesn't appear for me either. I mean i usually manually check for updates but It's been a while since I saw that icon
