Haven't been able to use Edge Canary for the past couple of days. Just get the message: This page is having a problem.

Have tried repair, uninstall and reinstall, all to no avail. Works ok on my other PC.

Edition Windows 11 Pro

Version 25H2

Installed on ‎02/‎02/‎2025

OS build 26200.8039

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.300.0

    Hi Jamony,

This was sorted out months ago. Actually used the stable version for a couple of weeks, before continuing with Canary, which was ok by then

  • Hi, because this is Edge Canary and every page produces the same “This page is having a problem” message, I would test for a damaged browser profile before reinstalling Windows. Reinstalling Edge does not necessarily remove the existing profile data. Try Canary under a new Windows user account or with a fresh temporary browser profile, then test with extensions disabled and hardware acceleration turned off. Reliability Monitor and Event Viewer under Windows Logs → Application may show the crashing component. If a clean profile also crashes, collect the exact Canary version and, if possible, a user-mode crash dump for the Edge Insider team. In the meantime, I would use Stable or Dev for normal work because Canary receives experimental changes and can occasionally become unusable. Please also mention whether the browser window itself remains open and whether internal pages such as edge://version load.
