Unable to close fullscreen mode with my touchscreen

I cannot close fullscreen mode with my touchscreen. There is no button or gesture to do it. With the previous edge I am able to do this but not with Edge Chromium.

I have a Surface and sometimes I use Edge in tablet mode. But with the new edge I miss the ability.

    Hi,

to close fullscreen mode, just tab and hold your finger on an empty space for 2-3 seconds. Then the button to close fullscreen appears.

It works but this method is not clear for the other users who likes to use a touchscreen and full screen.

The previous version of Edge is simple and clear. You have to swipe from the top edge and then you get a bar with a shortcut to close full screen.

You never can use F11 if you work with a touchscreen tablet  without a physical keyboard. It should be the same gesture as the previous Edge to close full screen. Unless Microsoft would like to phase out the tablet mode...

    Hi & welcome,

F11 will create & or negate/cancel Full Screen.  Also, the diagonal arrow in ellipsis.

    Cheers,
