unable to change search engine for the address-bar
Hi, I am a dev on Edge and I'm gathering more information about this issue.
If you see this, do you mind posting what both edge://settings/search and edge://settings/searchEngines say?
One suspicion we have is that this has to do with the residing country. If you can relay this information as well, that would be helpful.
Thanks so much for helping.

jessemMSFT I'm seeing a similar issue -- today address bar searches with Google are redirecting to Bing (eg. see the auto-generated icon). After testing, it seems the {google:baseURL} variable is getting replaced with "https://www.bing.com/".

Jess,
It IS, indeed, (already) fixed as of today, Version 78.0.246.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit)
Cheers,
Drew

Andypseymour , Thank you for this. With this setting, are you still getting Bing as your address bar search engine?
