Hi Can you please tell if the same works in Virtual machine VM box .
I tried the same steps in my VM but still unable to see the old Edge version.
Kindly note that i have add the registry and also enabled the side by side launch in Group policy as well . But still no luck with Old Legacy EDGE Icon.
Is there any work around to this.

what is your Windows 10 build that you are using in VM?
also when you search in Windows for Edge, you don't see the legacy Edge there? because sometimes the icon won't automatically appear and you have to search for it and pin it again.- sarat350Feb 28, 2020Copper Contributor

You are using Windows Server 2016.
Windows Servers and Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB/LTSC do not have Edge UWP (legacy).
they only have Internet Explorer.
