I think to bring Cortana to Edge is a good idea. People who're using windows 7 can use Cortana without updating to windows 10.
P/s: I'm still like windows 7 than windows 10 just coz it's easier to use

- Oh if you're on Windows 7 you Won't be able to use Cortana feature in Edge insider. the integration does not mean that they are going to embed the whole Cortana program into the browser. the browser sends and calls commands from/to Cortana app inside Windows 10.

- Yeah but don't worry, just switch to Windows 10 and you will be good to go with Cortana and everything ^^
the end of life for Windows 7 is January 2020, that's 11 years of service 🙂
