If I'm on a browser that is using chromium I shouldn't see on google.com to switch to Chrome since Edge and Chrome both run off of chromium. Fix it so that it doesn't say switch to Chrome or when on Chrome and using Bing it should say Switch to Edge. MissyQ

google is doing that intentionally, on purpose. it's advertisement tactic that has opposite effect because makes me hate google. I'm using Bing anyway but yeah you gotta mention it in a google forum or use adblocker like ublock origin to remove that piece of banner. they don't care if your underlying browser's engine is chromium or not, if it's not google chrome, you gotta be bothered with that banner.

ethanmenzel That popup is through Google. The Edge team cannot fix it. They want you to use Chrome, not even Chromium based browser.
