Top feedback summary for October 29
David Rubino Can someone at the team have a look what's going on for the Instagram help pages.
I've reported this since the beginning, but it's still not working in this release.
Chrome just works for some reason.
What is happening is that the main help menu links result in blank pages, not in a new set of choices.
It's a sliding menu, probably some script is not working. Tried with and without any extensions, same result.
Thanks!
RobWuijster when I tried that in today's Canary (318), I got the behavior where it opens a new tab, but on the existing tab, it also performed the sliding behavior correctly. The most important part though? If you go into the F12 Dev Tools and emulate Chrome's UA string, we get the correct behavior! So, Instagram is doing some browser detection and serving up something different in Edge that's not quite working right. I'll ask our developer outreach team if this is something they're tracking already.

Environment friendly feedback - aka recycled since none of it has been done and is blocking for a browser change
1. Google integration - No thanks. I value privacy - not Google profit
2. Fix the favorites icon - it's still the wrong one
3. Add these buttons to the favorites menu
3. prevent mouse button hijacking
4. Fix Epub
- HotCakeXOct 30, 2019MVPIt seems that what you are talking about is actually called Mousetrapping
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mousetrapping
Mousetrapping is a technique used by some websites (often tech support scam sites[1]) to keep visitors from leaving their website, either by launching an endless series of pop-up ads or by re-launching their website in a window that cannot be easily closed (sometimes this window runs like a stand-alone application, and the taskbar and the browser's menu become inaccessible). Many websites that do this also employ browser hijackers to reset the user's default homepage.[2]
the reason why I asked you to provide websites as an example is so we, the users, can test them and see whether they can Still do that Or their action gets blocked by Tracking prevention of the Edge insider and other built-in security measures. - HotCakeXOct 30, 2019MVP

We already talked about this that the favorites button is the correct one. you need to update your Windows 10 to see the changes.
This is the correct favorites button, not the one in your screenshot, it belongs to very old Edge classic version
Epub also doesn't need fixing, they already said it's going to be dropped from classic Edge and there is no plan to even add it to the new Edge.
About mouse hijacking, do you have any websites as an example that actually hijack your mouse?
- HotCakeXOct 30, 2019MVPSo you still got the correct sliding behavior with and without emulating Google chrome UA string?
