I don't know if this would work but someone correct me or give input. Just a suggestion.
I like how verticle tabs are at the moment and if you add tab preview to the verticle tabs it would make it even better but since verticle tabs is a thing now on edge I think we could make horizontal tabs even better. I like on verticle tabs you get the ability to press the pin icon to see the entire tab with the icon and text like in the horizontal tabs. Essentially the same in verticle and horizontal tabs. What I think could make horizontal tabs even better is the ability to have the text and only show the icon like in verticle tabs. It would be nice to make verticle tabs and horizontal tabs essentially the same thing but vertically or horizontal with the same features if possible.

- I'm thinking maybe in horizontal tabs we show only the icons as default and then when you hover over the tab it expands to show the text like in verticle tabs and we add a little pin or some icon button to make the sabs always show the icon and the text.
