Win UI / Project reunion should make it possible for edge to be more like a UWP app and if it doesn't chromium edge will continue looking like a toy compared to the original Microsoft Edge.
- WinUI 3 yeah, currently in beta but once makes it to stable and integrated into Windows 10, Edge should start using it quickly, to set an example for other developers and also because it's a 1st party program.
- I'd love transparency effect too, but I've only seen it on UWP apps so far
- Microsoft nowadays is just like this, they brag about gallons of fruits, and just give you a single piece if peanut. Talking about "Update the user interface with the Fluent Design System" and giving out just "Icon redesign", wth!, Although I would admit that I really like the redesigned icons, they did a great job, but transparency and reveal effects are the ones we are hoping.
