I use the old edge Browser to correct students Papers because of one thing I miss in the new one.
The old Edge differs between pen and finger when inking and scrolling. So it has no further tab on the inking button when scolling or zooming though a paper. This is extremly important to workflow and I can't find it in your list. Could you include it?

Always, can you put Provide an option to set a custom URL for a new tab instead of showing the new tab page as "Planned" and not "Adressed" ?
Since it is still not implemented in Edge
In the state, this option will never be added
And some PDFs cannot be read from the browser (from some sites, forced to download them)
Possible to integrate this function ?Thanks

I really hope that Read Aloud support for PDF's will be changed to Planned for Summer. This is one feature that keeps me from making the complete transition to the new version of Edge. I need this for reading PDF files that are shared to me in some of my classes.

Clicking on profile shows email address plus type of account, shouldn't it be name and account type, or name + email + account type.
Please address this issue 😞

David_H_1I'm not here to get into any debates, but there's nothing wrong with proprietary software. Only care about money? A software company—or an individual independent dev—works hard to code a good program. They are entitled to copyright protection AND to the compensation they can get from selling their own creations. If they want to open source it, great. But if not, no one has any ethical grounds to complain. The mentality you've expressed just drives me nuts.

I'm really sorry. At least I deleted the reply by replacing it with [DELETED]. But I am so naive to think that because Edge is free (without charge), so it should be open source? You shouldn't use the derogatory term "mentality", though.

I am extremely dissatisfied with your services. Microsoft Edge on Linux is postponed for many weeks! Still no timeline!!! Edge is the ONLY browser which supports FULL colour font rendering and H.265 support!!! Please, please make Microsoft available on Linux ASAP even if you don't want to disclose any of the source code (proprietary, as always) !!! It would be better if you can disclose part of the source code to security experts in order to debug and find exploits.
- relu84Iron ContributorLinux version, please! If Edge would support hardware video acceleration (va-api and such) and focus on font rendering (respect system-wide settings for subpixel rendering and hinting - surprisingly, not a single Linux web browser seems to do that and often override those with their own, depending on font family, for example) it would be a killer.
