I think I'm the exception from the rule. I'm right handed and a think I never would use vertical tabs on the right side. I'm too familiar with left panels that I just can't give up. This is why I think vertical tabs shouldn't be on the right side by default.
You are right , but you will be able to choose which side is conveniently the user = for sure = opcI!
