MissyQ Please add an option to hide the caret above new tab page quick links. This is in no way useful rather quite disturbing.

You have to click the Settings icon at the top left, click "Custom" and then turn off the toggle that says "Show quick links." That should work.

  that hides everything, including quick links. but he is only complaining about that little arrow, not the actual quick links.

a simple button that shows/hides quick links.
