Feb 07, 2020MissyQ Are there any plans to be able to pin the Favorites to the left side of the screen like IE11? I have asked this question about 4 times now since October with no response. I would just like a yes/no answer please.
Also, I have Windows Pro and Edge Chromium does not sync favorites with IE11 even though I have it set in group policy editor.

Which group policy did you set?
all of the policies for the new Edge are in here
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-policies
and there is no mention of anything that syncs favs between IE and Chromium based Edge

That group policy belongs to legacy Edge, that's what it is referring to.
currently the new Chromium based Edge's policy files are not included by default in Windows 10. you need to get them from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download
