Thank you for sharing, I believe not only for Vertical tabs but users would be interested in grouping tabs whether they are horizontal or vertical. I believe the team should also consider horizontal tabs for grouping too.

You can group tabs on vertical and horizontal tab strips.

just need to enable tab group flags edge://flags/

  Yes but it is inside the Flag and it means still experimental and hope to see it be enable in all releases.

    Yes I know, you just said team should consider enabling it for horizontal tabs too, so wanted to let you know they already did it, just still in flags 😉
