Throws me off the net

When on Edge and attempt Full Screen the software throws me off Al Gore's internet and wipes out my tabs.  I am a consultant and ned multiple tabs open at once.  The Apple Techs worked on it for 6 hours and their advice was, "Use another browser and wait for an Edge update".  Unsat.  I am on a MacBoon Air.
