The Edge for Linux .deb Repository is not working today
Today I've encountered this problem, while updating via apt in Ubuntu:
E: Impossibile recuperare https://packages.microsoft.com/repos/edge/dists/stable/InRelease Il file con la firma in chiaro non è valido, ottenuto "NOSPLIT" (la rete richiede autenticazione?)
E: Il repository "https://packages.microsoft.com/repos/edge stable InRelease" non è più firmato.
Translated is :
E: Unable to retrieve https://packages.microsoft.com/repos/edge/dists/stable/InRelease The file with clear signature is invalid, got "NOSPLIT" (network requires authentication?)
E: The "https://packages.microsoft.com/repos/edge stable InRelease" repository is no longer signed.
What can I do?
- UserAnonimCopper Contributorit seems to be a global problem
- luizaujrCopper ContributorThe same thing happens here, Linux Mint 20.2. Since last night, when the update came out.
Awaiting response from Microsoft about what happened. - Alexandra-RMicrosoft
Hey there guipan (and other folks in the thread!) Thanks for the report, I've flagged this to the team for a closer look but don't have any updates just yet.

Hi,
If this problem was resolved, then it has regressed, atleast as of 19.12.2021.
