The Edge 64-bit browser installation path is still in the Program Files (x86) directory

and it is still there two years later....
The decision to retain the installation path of the 64-bit Microsoft Edge browser within the Program Files (x86) directory is intentional and not a bug.
While this may appear unconventional, it reflects a deliberate strategy aligned with Microsoft's broader ecosystem and support infrastructure.
