Teams Meeting Link sending attendees to different meetings

Hello, 

I am having issues with a couple of different scenarios:

1. A one-off meeting was scheduled with an external attendee. I scheduled it on the shared mailbox I am a part of for the host. The host of the meeting clicked the link from the Teams app, as well as the Outlook desktop calendar, and neither put him in the same room as the external attendee. 

2. Another meeting, also a one-off, scheduled with an internal attendee also had the same issue. The meeting was scheduled on the host's Desktop Outlook and had one meeting URL. The attendee's calendar event had another meeting URL. 

What could be causing this issue?
