"Tab freeze" flag is now available in Edge Canary.
This is some kind of "improvement" to the tab discarding function that already works in Chromium, I never liked that function so, when the flag to disable it was removed, I installed an extension that disables that function.
The new flag offers three options:

Elliot Kirk Is the #proactive-tab-freeze flag meant to still be there or has it been built in possibly? I don't see it any more at edge://flags/#proactive-tab-freeze
