does sync work without problem when VPN and proxy is not used?

Disabling the VPN does not have any effect. I haven't tried disabling the proxy and I believe I'm not even able to do that. It still doesn't explain why it works for a while and then suddenly stops.

I believe that might be possible. This morning it seems to work again. I wonder what the auth error code means?
