sync error: SYNC_AUTH_ERROR

sometimes edge://sync-internals/ shows errors like these, how to fix it:   Auth Error Connection failed (-2). since 2021-12-14 11:44:06 +08 Server Connection server error since 2021-12-14 11:44:06...

    Does logging out and back in allow sync to continue normally?

    oh no,,, all zeros.

      The transfer state on this last screenshot was still 'Configuring data types', so looks like it was still setting up for sync. After giving it some time, did this resolve back to the numbers you expected?
