Switching from Stable Version to Canary Version
HotCakeX Actually I just did that ... but due to some reason it wasn't syncing all my passwords. I checked after installing there were total 176 creds. in Canary version but when I checked my Old Edge, there were 186 Creds. May be it was due to some sort of bug. So, i uninstalled it. That's why I asked if i can shift my old edge to canary
you can export your passwords from here: edge://settings/passwords
but you won't be able to import them back to Edge.
of course there are extensions like LastPass that can do that for you cross-browser (also available on Windows Store) which I'm using and that's another option you have.
in here: edge://sync-internals/
you can get more info about your sync data and their status.

HotCakeX seems like my browser was still syncing when I checked the passwords. So, I installed it again and let it do its work. It successfully synced the data the whole with my MS account. Now I have shifted to Canary Version. I love to test the newer features and provide suggestions and feedbacks so it is pretty great for me that it worked.
Thanks by the way for the LastPass suggestion. I have used it once, I kinda don't trust 3rd-Party services.
and TBH I was following a news back in early dates of February that LastPass extension was removed from chrome webstore. You should search for it and protect your data while it is still in your hands.

That's nice!
well security is a relative thing. Edge or Chrome do not protect your passwords any better than how LastPass protects your passwords 🙂
