Suggestion: Pinned Tabs should stay

Hi,

 

Just a small suggestion, but would it be possible to make it so that pinned tabs cannot be closed with a shortcut?

 

There is a reason why I use pinned tabs, i.e., I want to have the site (Gmail, etc.) always open. However, it happened now more than once that I use ctrl+w to close other tabs and end up also closing the pinned tabs.

    Hi,
    great suggestion, I also expect pinned tabs not to be closed as easily as other normal tabs.

    +1 for keeping pinned tabs always open. Control-W should NOT be able to close pinned tabs. They should function the way they do in Firefox - you have to unpin the tab first in order for Control-W or clicking the close box [x] will work. Pinned tabs are something many users want to have quickly available ALL the time. So it should not be so easy to close them.
