Steam store won't play video and appealed black

found this on another website but it fixed it for me so I thought I would share my fix here.
apparently the issue comes from an update they pushed.
steam>settings>interface> choose “steam beta update” in the Client Beta Participation section.
worked for me.

This also worked for me. I feel bit bad for the OP of this Edge issue, since I doubt you can change a similar setting in browser.
