Status after update
Just a casual FYI on the status of things after latest update of Canary to Version 81.0.393.0
Favs & Collections sync both On
Flags, still, needed for Dark web pages & Collections.
Sites converted to apps, still, change the icon to Edge as soon as pinned to the taskbar.
Dev:
(My) Dev, still, has Collections sync On & Favs sync Off. And, it, still, needs the flags for Collections & Dark pages. Sites converted to apps, still, change the icon to Edge as soon as pinned to the taskbar.
Beta:
Favs sync is On
Collections sync is Off; No Collections & Beta has no Collections flag.
Dark pages flag IS needed.

Looking at my Canary installation, they are the opposite
-Converted apps don't have that problem.
https://streamable.com/8m9so-Collections is enabled by default and doesn't need a flag on Canary.
- dark mode on web pages can happen using the Edge setting: edge://settings/appearance
the one you are talking about is Forced dark mode.
