Yeah, this problem is apparent to me, too. It is very annoying, especially if you're installing a web-filter or a prenatal control extension like Qustodo or Plucky. The extensions are turned off, leaving the browser with no protection at all. Also, I want to add that I am using some Enterprise Policies to restrict usage of the browser and tried to force allow the extensions as a workaround. There is no force-allow-list for extensions in Edge Android (canary and others).
