SOLVED: Why are external links being opened in Edge Stable?
Edge Canary is my default web browser, but when I click in an external link like in News and Interests the link is opened in Edge Stable
- I think they are specifically targeting Edge stable since Windows insider team mentioned it needs to be installed

but curious if it happens with Edge dev or beta tooYou're right... I ended up uninstalling Edge Stable an hour ago because I thought that with this News and Interests links would be forced to open in Canary, but then News and Interests disappeared from the taskbar...
First I thought it was because I was using those ViveTool commands to force this feature to appear, but then I remembered reading exactly what you mentioned, so I reinstalled Edge Stable and with that the News and Interests reappeared...
Well, they could respect the default browser chosen by the user... but ok, mystery solved...Thanks
