Solution for PWAs not appearing as separate apps on Linux taskbars

Hi,

I believe I'm seeing the same issue on Garuda Linux (KDE Plasma 6, Wayland) using the Flatpak version of Microsoft Edge.

My PWAs launch correctly, but the launcher icon never becomes active. Instead, the running application appears under a separate Edge icon on the taskbar. Pinning the running application also creates a separate launcher rather than associating with the existing one.

For example, my Copilot launcher contains:

StartupWMClass=crx__mpcecoobhknkgppoobphcipnlfdehpkd

We tested modifying the StartupWMClass value and rebuilding the KDE application database, but it did not resolve the issue.

All of my Edge PWAs appear to be affected in the same way.

You mentioned having a Bash script that fixes installed PWAs. Would you be willing to share the script or explain what changes it makes?
