Smart Copy is Available in Edge Now!

Smart copy isn't in Dev yet, only in Canary,
in the change log there is no mention of it either. I'm assuming it will come with the next major update of Dev channel which will be early next year.

Smart copy feature is currently being rolled out to canary and dev channels.
100% of canary users and 25% of dev channel users have been onboarded already.
The remaining Dev channel users will be onboarded in the next few weeks.
Edge Stable ship smart copy in the upcoming months.

there is no misinformation,
second, like I said there is no mention of it in change log, that's based on the information available to insiders, and that is not misinformation, learn the difference.
third, they're already making it confusing by running experiments in places where it shouldn't be happening.
fourth, in that thread I commented "Looks like Smart Copy will come to Dev next year", and the developers obviously saw that comment but didn't say Dev has it already, so again there is someone else to blame.

I forgot to mention this, whoever told you Smart copy is rolled out to 100% of canary users is wrong.
it is still a controlled feature rollout, it is still Not available to everyone in every region, even in Canary.
if they are not aware of this fact, tell them to reply to this post and I'll give them more info.
that picture up there is my proof. there is no way to disable Smart copy from right-click menu.
