See what EDGE blocked LOL
I just downloaded and installed in Microsoft store and Edge blocked Bing app hahaha Because it changes search engine
- Dec 18, 2019It's perfectly normal. you don't want Microsoft discriminate and give their own extensions special treatment, that's why there is the warning there.
There was an option in the Edge settings: edge://settings/privacy
that would warn when an extension tried to change search engine, NTP and other areas, I don't see it in my Edge canary, maybe it's because of the controlled feature roll-out, but it was there.
