Search suggestions setting button unresponsive

Hello all, 

As the title says the typed characters search suggestion button on this page (the topmost option) is completely unfunctional. Since I've downloaded Edge it has been set to off and there is no way to change it. I've tried resetting the app and disabling extensions and nothing seems to fix it.
