Search Provider
I feel it's a bit convoluted the way the search provider setting is handled.
Open Settings, click Privacy and services, scroll all the way down to Address Bar and click. As read, it only applies to the address bar, and not the new tab page. One way this feature can be improved is make it adjustable from the NTP and apply it there as well.
