Recover to normal mode after joining Insider Programme

How to uninstall the insider programme update and unregister from Insider Programme.

    Microsoft Edge Insider channels (Beta, Dev, and Canary) are separate applications from the stable version of Microsoft Edge. It is not possible to uninstall only a specific Insider update or roll the channel back to an earlier version.

    To stop using Microsoft Edge Insider:

    1. Make sure the stable version of Microsoft Edge is installed and working.
    2. Open Settings > Apps > Installed apps (or Control Panel > Programs and Features on older Windows versions).
    3. Locate the relevant Microsoft Edge Beta, Microsoft Edge Dev, or Microsoft Edge Canary entry.
    4. Select Uninstall and follow the prompts.
    5. Continue using the stable Microsoft Edge application.

    There is no separate “unregister” action for Edge Insider. Uninstalling the Insider channel stops all future preview-channel updates. If Sync is enabled, favorites, passwords, and other synced data remain available after signing in to stable Edge with the same Microsoft account.

    Do not try to install an older Insider build over the current one or delete profile folders to “unregister,” as these are unsupported methods and may cause data loss.
