Recent Bing searches

Has anyone else noticed that recent Bing searches is not working? This seems to have started since the last update(s) - Edge, Edge Dev and Edge Canary.

 

I also noticed that the toggle is missing from the new tab page gear settings.

 

And what's weird is that today I did the Canary update and when it reloaded, I checked the settings and the recent Bing searches toggle was there. I set it to on and closed settings. And when I went back to the settings the toggle was gone again.

 

This is not a big deal for me at all. But now it has me really curious. Old sys admin syndrome I guess :smile:

    As of this morning's latest Edge Dev update, Recent Bing Searches is working now in Edge, Canary and Dev.

    Recent Bing Searches is back on the current versions of Edge and Edge Canary. It's still missing on Edge Dev.

    By way of update the toggle for recent bing searches is back on Version 110.0.1535.0 (Official build) canary (64-bit) of Canary. It is still missing in dev and release Edge.

    I'm accepting cookies so that should not be an issue. And, that should not have messed with the setting deleting the option.

    it may be because of the deletion or rejection of cookies on the bing.com site or on the ntp
