It definitely Is a controlled feature rollout when a simple VPN connect/disconnect to another geography can make that feature appear and disappear
HotCakeX I'm thinking the same, like that error about image of the day only updating on VPN connection. But at the same time nothing in the post implies it is a controlled rollout. Could be a simple miscommunication between browser and community teams but annoying nonetheless.
I guess at this point I might as well switch to some dedicated NTP extension like Momentum since native one has been broken for quite a long time on my device.
