Edge dev crash on start up after update

I am using Edge dev for several months now and this is the first time it happened. When I started Edge this morning, the windows opens,  but after 2 to 5 secondes edge crashes (the edge window close...

Btw Google Chrome stable is an option too

I switched to Chrome and then the Software Reporter Tool started up and nearly set fire to my laptop ... what's up with the CPU usage of that thing? Maybe I'll go back to old Edge.

    It's normal, it's different on each machine because of different configuration.

    It could be very random yeah..hopefully the next Dev update tomorrow will take care of it

    HotCakeX , I don't know if this is related but since the update, each time I tried to  open http://guardian.co.uk/ edge crashed. (but I can open https://www.theguardian.com/)

    Hmm same here
    so yeah it should be temporary and might go back to being normal after few minutes

    are you using Win 10? if so which version?
