Re-activate edge
Hi there! It sounds like you’re having trouble getting Microsoft Edge back on your Windows 10 computer after an uninstall. No worries—I’ll guide you through the steps to reinstall it smoothly.
Since you’re seeing the “already installed” message, let’s try resetting the Microsoft Store cache. Sometimes, the Store keeps outdated cache files, which can cause this kind of issue.
Step 1: Reset the Microsoft Store Cache
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
- This will open a blank Command Prompt window and automatically clear the Store cache. After a few moments, Microsoft Store should reopen.
Now, try reinstalling Edge from the Store.
Let me know if this resolves the issue!

wiguna_kurniawan . Good day. Thank you kindly for your assistance. Unfortunately did not have any success. Followed your instructions and followed it up with a re-boot. After that tried to reset Store also with a re-boot. Stiil shows that it is already installed.
Any further advice will be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
