"Profile preferences for sites" does not function on macOS

Automatically switching to a different profile based on the URL by adding entries to the "profile preferences for sites" section does not do anything on macOS. 

This functionality works correctly on Windows.

I have tested this on:

Dev: 102.0.1227.0

Beta: 101.0.1210.19

Stable: 100.0.1185.44

I have also tested on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs both with and without work accounts.

Is this a known bug, or does this work correctly for anyone else?
