Prevent Bing web page from opening when Edge starts
I am tearing my hair out with this. I do not want a tab to open to the Bing search site when Edge starts. I have tried numerous fixes I found on the Web and none of them work. First I tried ...
Posts like this one have been around for years, and no one has found an answer. Here in 2025, Edge still automatically opens a bing.com page, most often promoting a Microsoft product.
I've tried dozens of fixes, and the only one that shows promise is switching from Edge to another browser.
Has anyone found a fix for this? Edge has been opening one or two pages per day in this way. A minor annoyance, but a frustrating one...
