Possible to make macOS Edge use in-app updater?

Hello,

About updating Edge Insider.

On Windows platform, the Edge Insider uses in-app updater. It's the same method as Google Chrome updater.

But on macOS platform, it uses Microsoft Update app. The user experience is not good actually.

First, every time I go to About Edge Insider, it always say "update is in queue". I have to launch Microsoft Update app manually. But Microsoft Update app is hidden on macOS by default.

Second, Microsoft Update app download speed is extremely slow in China. I took look into the issue and found some Microsoft Update download nodes for macOS are blocked in China.

Above all, the Edge Insider update experience on macOS is very bad.
