Permission prompt error in Edge Dev for downloading files

Hi! 

I am using Windows 10 with Edge(version 90.0.803.0 (Official build) dev (64-bit)).

I was trying to download multiple files from Google Colaboratory, but the Edge Dev browser is not allowing that to happen. 

Normally, before allowing the downloading of the multiple files at once, a prompt appears near the search bar that asks me to confirm whether I want the browser to download multiple files from Google Colab. But since yesterday, it has not been working since the prompt is just plain blank. 

I reinstalled the browser(with having the earlier browser data unchanged), but the problem still exists. Could someone please help? Thanks!
