PDF Inking

Is it supposed to be that when marking up pdf, each stroke is blurry until it's released? This behavior seems to be the same across stable and dev versions that I'm using. I find it somewhat unpleasant. Or is there something wrong with my device(Surface Pro 7 i7)?
