Pause button signals on a desktop keyboard are being redirected to Chromium Edge

I have Spotify always running on my Windows 10 desktop for music. I usually turn on a playlist during a game. However, with YouTube also always running in Chromium Edge, the command (shortcut) to pause my Spotify playlist using my keyboard gets redirected to pausing and unpausing the YouTube video. I don't want this. Is there any way to configure the Edge settings so it won't recognize the fact that I pressed the pause button?
