If people really need it, and if possible, build an extension for Chrome users that will sync up to their Microsoft Account to put/pull data from - Edge users shouldn't have to do anything or install anything.
But I guess I don't really understand the point of the sync between the two in the first place and it looks like that is what you're trying to get from people in this thread.
Yeah, it dosent' make sense. If you want to use chrome and need sync. Just use chrome.
