Office apps sometimes hanging when Edge is open

Question

Something really weird: whenever I have too many Office apps open (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) etc *and* Edge is open, then sometimes the PC would slow down and some windows will start having weird artefacts (like blanked out / washed out windows, as if there was a 2D graphics starvation?)

Things go better if I close some Office apps (can't do that!) or if I close Edge (which solves the problem).

Edge: 76.0.167.1

Have you updated to the latest update of Windows since this was posted? Alternately, you may want to check your system resources, you may just be using all your system memory.
