OCR read aloud for copyright sensitive ebooks? like the one from kindle

Hi I just recently bought some ebooks from kindle, and they were all scanned version, so I could not use the read aloud feature. And the fact that these kindle ebooks are copyright sensitive, that can't be downloaded locally make them imposible to throw the documents to an ocr scanner. Wish edge could improve the read aloud experience on this kind of situation.
