I second this, I am also facing this issue. (POINT 1)
By "open all versions" it usually means:-
1. open all of the recently edited files.
2. sometimes it opens duplicate instances of the same file, that's why he said versions.
Here is a scenario how this may be replicated:-
1.I open file1
2.then i open file 2 (it opens in a new TAB)
3.then i just close notepad
4.then i open file 3, but hey hey it opens file 3 but also opens file 1/file 2 in the tab next to it.
This can be solved with an option, like in internet browsers:
When closing Notepad
- Remember open files
- Close all open files
If unsaved changes to the open files, prompt you to save changes.
