New "To open this link select app" icon appear in the address bar?
I just want to know what is this for?

- is there anyway to hide it from the address bar?
When you install some site as PWA you can send tab from browser to this app due the icon. Similar to the smartphone experience, when opening youtube, twitter etc link runs the installed dedicated application.
