New Tab Search UI (Ctrl + Shift + A) has changed - how to revert to previous behavior?
Since the latest Microsoft Edge update, the Tab Search panel opened with Ctrl + Shift + A has changed. It now opens on the side instead of in the center, and arrow key navigation no longer works. On...
I may have found the solution.
Open edge://flags, then search for the Tab Search Button flag, select disabled from the dropdown menu. Then restart. Ctrl + Shift + A should return to its previous appearance and behaviour before the update.
After the latest update, I cannot see the Tab Search Button flag on edge://flags.
I really cannot understand why they revoke such a great, useful shortcut and make it impossible to bring it back again. I guess I will stop using Edge only because of this. Meanwhile, I'd appreciate it if someone figured out how we can bring it back and share here.
